Huwhaaaat?! "The girl has a boyfriend"... A cheaterfic!!! Arrrgggghhh. Though they are cheating with each other...
 :iagree:   :)

Am definitely rethinking reading this. Work is angsty enough (that's why i haven't read a fic or book in 2 days!  :'(  :-\). Plus the hellish traffic the past few days (ave. of 2 fckng hours to travel 19 goddamned kms one way!!!) has not put me in a good mood.  :pulling  :banghead:

Days like these, i tend to hate the government, the stupid motorcycles, the damned buses, the fckng jeepneys and all the moronic drivers in this country!!!!  :pulling :pulling :pulling

Sorry to vent
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Obviously, i need a humorous or light fic next...  ;D
This is when I appreciate my job all the more, as I get to work at home most of the time. The only traffic is the cat fight on the stairs.  Though when I do have to go out,  the traffic is not fun.  Though not that bad.  An hour to go 20 miles.

By the way, The Last Tango - twific version is not a cheater fic.  The movie was a cheater movie. I know Bella didn't have a boyfriend at the beginning. I want to say Edward is a widower?  But definitely not humor.  Have you tried any Staceleo stories? She has some good humor.  There's one with an Actorward and a Baseballward. Mayorward is probably next on my list when I need a comedy.  ;)

Thanks! I've read her Curve Ball and i recall i liked that one. I started reading Olivia Cunning's Sinners at the Altar after doing the long-hard-swipe-through-ibooks-and-choose-from-the-books-within-the-section-it-stops

Loved the Sinners! This should help dispel my bad mood  :)

Will take a look if i have other staceleo works in my ipad and line that up next instead.  :)

Note: Ella, you have a .opf of Decoy of Reality in your drive. Any chance you would have an epub version? Thanks!  :-*

Sorry, I have to nitpick here.  In Last Tango, Bella and Jacob are involved.  She gets engaged while she's meeting up with Edward in the  apartment.  Edward is a widower, though.

When I get in that kind of mood, I usually go for a fic that's super light, I've read before and doesn't make me think too much. Parenting Skills 101 and Shadow Guardian by vjgm are good one. And since we were just talking about fluffers, "The Art of Getting Fluffed" by choc and sparrow is a super funny one.

Oops! I'm really screwing up on this.   I will say again, I only got to maybe the second chapter and I really don't remember much of anything about it except for the lemons.   *walks away and hides*

Not to worry, Ella.  When those of us who have read Last Tango in Forks talk, just say "Yes, dear."

I don't read that many one shots, but I've been trying not to get sucked too deeply into anything since I have too much work to do, so I've been reading a few of the one shots from the latest Doctorward contest.  They're pretty good.

I'm glad you are enjoying Vikings. Travis Fimmel definitely has the most gorgeous eyes! :) The story gets better with each episode, and season 2 even more so.

Please give Game of Thrones another try. I started it last year when I couldn't get away from the talk. It definitely took hubby and I about 3 or 4 episodes to really understand who everyone was and what was going on. We then binge-watched ALL 2.8 seasons and ordered HBO so we wouldn't miss the most anticipated episode last year.  Needless to say, we can't wait for this Sunday's all new episode of season 4. One last thing...Peter Dinklage is awesome!  :bravo_2:

Just got a friend hooked on GOT. He keeps calling me after every few episodes he watches to say " I dont know if I hate you or I love you " He just finished the 3.9 episode.... a real dilly!

I'm with you Ella..I'm not sure I could ever do full time in an office again, I work from home 3-4 days a week and today I 'worked' from Selfridge's shoe department, got a lot done, let me tell you  :D

I got my GBF hooked on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, cos, ya know, I'm classy that way....Oh and Scandal, which, I suppose, in the course of true friendship cancels out the previous misdemeanour.

Lol, there's nowt wrong with Atlanta though I prefer OC and BH myself, though my best Gay tells me I should watch NJ - so that's next on my to watch list.  :D :D

I have to go on record and say that this is driving me nuts:
I COULD care less instead of I COULDN'T care less.
It's driving me nuts, I've read countless books and fics that use the first phrase when it should be the second.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

One word i hate: irregardless

Whenever i hear people saying it with the emphasis on the "i", i just cringe. "I-rregardless of blah blah blah". Specialy here where English is a second language, the way people looove to just have the opportunity to say it during meetings, with a serious, self-important-i-am-smart look in their face...just...noooo, moron!  :P

OK buuuuut, it depends now how it used....I think writers are now using it to 'double emphasis' the lack of caring, does that make sense? "As if I could care less about that arsehole" I already care as little as is allowed and so.......it's a style thing, I think, maybe?......Yeah. No. I'm trying to find allowances but years of the English as a study subject, plus I can hear my own common sense is  saying 'bollocks!" You're right Loopy Girl  :D  :D

Somehow I've managed to take a hiatus from twific and filled that void with ridiculous Jackie Collins novels. I swear this break is doing wonders for my fanfiction palate! I actually peeked at a story that updated that is not canon and spent the whole time rolling my eyes at how over dramatized everything was for the sake of being able to label it angst.

So, YellowGlue has had a book (novella) published, Light and Wine, written in collaboration with another author (not TeamBella) under the penname Sparrow AuSoleil, it sounds right up my street...I'm off to download and read ( In Death? What's In Death?).

Light and Wine by Sparrow AuSoleil

What’s set Marc apart forever is also what’s brought him and Lacie together.

He's spent his entire life searching for and studying love, but Heaven on Earth with hazel eyes and a teenage heart has taught him more than any book, mission, or seminary ever could.  While she struggles with accepting what she's always had, he guards her path and guides her soul toward the most enduring kind of love.

Faith isn't always believing in something you can't see.  Sometimes faith is embracing what's been right before your eyes all along.

Between stolen candy and soft surrender, centuries-old sacraments and a brand new day, this is a story about two people accepting God’s greatest gift, even if no one else will.

That's almost heresy demaris.   Are you still on Loyalty or have you progressed to Witness and Pepper one of Roarke's old girlfriends?   Never mind - Pepper Franklin is from Imitation - after 45 plus books, the characters start to blend in as to who was in what book.  Thank god for the InDeath wiki.   Pepper is very likable by the way.
