here here! I mean the books are sooo much better than the movies were. What about the green house sceen in the movie? I was like stick to the damn book! Except for the last book that is. All that fade to black was just bullsh!t as far as I am concerned!
I think they used the same writer for all of the movies. Seems like they would've moved up the food chain after the first movie did so well.
LOL! You have to remember that they were YA stories. She really couldn't do anything but fade to black.
I was thinking that about some of the actors too *cough Rosalie cough* And much as I like Jackson? Jasper should have been taller and blonde.
It's been years since I read it, so I can't remember, did The Host (book, not movie) fade to black too? I know it was marketed more for adults.I'm ticked Meyer got all Hollywood and never finished the sequel to The Host, or Midnight Sun. Does she write at all now, I wonder?
Eh, she's rolling in dough and must have stopped having dreams. Or maybe she's one of the fanfic writers!
At one time she said her mother was going to force her to do Midnight Sun. But frankly? With all the fanfics out there? I'm not sure I'd want to pay for it now. I never got into The Host. I think I read half of it then skipped to the end.
I loved MoTU. Granted, it was one of my first fanfics and I was more into the psychology of Edward -if you like Fridays at noon you will like MoTU. To me F@N was a copy of MoTU. But definitely read the fanfic version. It's better because it's Edward. And even though she pulled to publish? She finished it as a fanfic. I never heard anything bad about her until the twifans turned on her for being one of those pulled to publish authors. So I always wonder if there are two sides to that story. I sure think more of her than some of these other authors who make you buy if you want to read the ending. And the story was edited when it got picked up by whatever major publisher printed it. No offense to TWCS who I think published the first version, but I don't think they have the editing staff. Okay, that said, and as much as I would have loved Rob as (ugh) Christian, I totally get why he didn't want the role. It's likely to lose the best part of the story in all the sex. Yeah, I have very little faith in screenwriters.
I only read a few chapters of The Host. Didn't like it. Am not much of a scific reader, movies are a different matter though. But absolutely had no desire to watch this movie. FSoG was what brought me to fanfic. Not the best of writing but i loved it, the characters/story. Read the trilogy twice, back to back, yes, back to back. Wanted to read MoTU but i figured there are other fanfics and books to read. Will definitely watch this movie. Not sure what films of Rob will show here among those mentioned. Maybe will catch it on dvd. Btw, watched Transformer yesterday and the action was non-stop! Loved it! But would have been better if it was a bit shorter. It was 2 hrs 45 mins. Speaking of writers. I have great respect for nolebucgrl (amy noelle). She never pulled any of her fabulous fanfics but she is now a twice-published writer. Her first one was last year's Code Red and a new one came out a few days ago The Hot Corner. You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginYou are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginThis is what i was saying before, if you are a good writer, people will buy your books. If you rely on your fanfic alone and fight with everyone to get back the free copy you posted in the internet, you must not be a good writer to keep readers interested. Please don't expect to make a living out of writing. I wish Nolebucgrl achieves a lot of success as a writer. Love her writing! The Hot Corner is what i will read next after i finish Sinners at the Altar. Am not a fast reader like demaris.
I rarely buy P2Ps if I've already read the FFs, and similarly I don't read FFs if I've read them first as novels (so I haven't read MOTU or UoEC) I get mightily pissed off if I've started a Fic and then discover it's been pulled to publish and not finished, but luckily that's only happened to me once with Live-In Position and that was back in my early days of not checking for completed PDFs from the 152 thread.
I really don't read the P2P, but if I like an author I will buy their published original fiction.

Alice paused before answering, "We don't know what he has. He was the first documented case. For now, he's called Harkham's Case number one." Bella smiled as a tear leaked out. "Okay."
