There's a Secret and Lies? With no Family Ties?! No wonder I got confused...Well that's the one I think is the best of the 'secret child' fics
Shit! I almost clicked on the damn link AGAIN!
You know I love you, demaris. I just want you to be happy..and to let us know you're happy! (preferably with a few juicy details)I'm sitting here visiting with my daughter. She's back from visiting her boyfriend and his family in the mountains, since being away from him for the whole summer has become too much to bear. We have a "don't ask" policy, although I will accept any information she wants to give. However, if I make any suggestive comments, I get an indignant "MOM!" in response. That means you get the brunt of my nosiness. I have to let loose somewhere!
Luckily, my daughter is only 15, in an all girls catholic school. Though the all boys catholic school is just a fence away. She knows absolutely no boyfriend allowed until she's 35 She does have some boy friends and she has shot down the 2 suitors who've courted her. So far, she has her head on straight, very conscious about getting high grades or honors. My hub and i are the ones telling her to chill, that she doesn't need to get perfect scores or all As. I am conflicted whether i want her to be like me, having kissed and been with only 1 man. But i realize that is unrealistic these days and she may end up kissing more boys than i had. But i just hope we've guided her enough to know the value of her virtue. Yeah, virtue This from a p0rn fan. FFG, 'MOM!' is an exclamation i often hear from my daughter too. I try not to pry much in fear she will close up on me and not share what's happening with her. Right now, am actually enjoying our "bond" when our eyes meet or i hastily tap her or whisper to her to point out a cute hottie when we're out. Hope she continues to think i am a cool mom which am happy to note her friends tell her bec i keep updated on stuff about Rob , boy bands/music, movies which am not embarassed to talk to them with This is why i love all the stories shared here. It teaches me how to deal with a similar situation in case i encounter it. Not that i know of anyone with a PA, but you'll never know or should i say, one can only hope?!!
Oh Booked, that's pretty bad combo right there - Catholic Boys next to Catholic girls. I thought it was bad enough having to walk the 1/4 mile to the all boys reform school when I was in an all girls Catholic school, I'm sure I would of got thrown out of school a helluva lot earlier if the boys were only a fence away. But that was just me, I was pretty rebellious and never really stopped that tbh. I'll swap my 15 year old for yours. Whenever I see a hottie and I'm out with her and mention it, she's like "You're way too old to act like that Mum!" I'm 31 FGS not 81!!
Any good sugar daddy stories ? Bella and Edward ? complete ?
My friend wants to read her very first fanfiction. (well, in actual FF form... she's read 50SoG and Gabriel's Inferno). What do you guys recommend as a guaranteed winner? I read Comp Sem 101 and enjoyed it. Not a lot of smut in it, but a good story. Depends what your friend is into. If she wants lots $ex then this may not be the story for her.

Nothing else may ever compare? LOL
So many good fics listed here but I loved Fridays at Noon by troublefollows. As for Trippin it is a brilliant fic but her style of prose is not for everyone.
Yep, you're right... Trippin was my favorite fic ever by far but I like the beautiful fluffy way yellowglue writes. She's amazing! I think my friend would like it too, but not 100% sure... Pennyward is a pretty solid choice! I think that's probably a good place to start.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! A May to December Romance is not complete and I doubt it ever will be - another author that got us hooked with regular updates and then abandoned us.
Well that sucks because that sounds like it could be a great story.
It is but then there are 100's of great unfinished stories on FF.
unfortunate but so true. this is why I don't read WIP's. did the story at least finish at a good spot, or does it leave you hanging?
