I could quote everyone that said the same thing but I wont, I am in the same boat.
Honestly, there are genres or storylines that just don't interest me, hence I avoid those stories all together. On the plus side, it makes my reading list much shorter.
I never read her either Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
That makes 3 of us in a row who haven't read Yellowglue. I was feeling somewhat out of the loop and deprived because I hadn't but now - maybe we ought to start a support group for those of us who haven't read her?
I wouldn't recommend YellowGlue to be honest. I said it before: for me YellowGlue is more a poet than a novelist. Totally great writing, but hard to digest. Maybe it's my not being native English speaker though. But if I imagine reading YellowGlue in the very beginning...I think I would have stepped away from fanfiction.Same goes for goldenmeadow...excellent and poetic writing...beautiful words, but maybe for later when someone is hooked anyway. I read the whole Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout lately and absolutely loved it! Any fans here? I'm looking forward to August when the next book comes out! At first, I needed to get a little used to read about aliens, because I had no idea what those books were about, but I was hooked very fast.
It's almost impossible to reproduce what YG does, and she hasn't written that many full length fics....As I said if you can stomach the subject matter Light and Wine has her stamped all over it. But knowing you liked Jellicoe Road then maybe The Mirror by Adorablecullen and Sleepers, Awake by Feisty Y. Beden. In Places No One Will Find by carrie.wilson be warned this is not HEA in the traditional sense Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. (for which this poor author got flamed off of FFN, which just pisses me off) but, you know me, don't give a about HEA and it's really well written. Mark of Beauty by danieller.one.two.three I'm not a huge vampward fan but this is one of my favourite next to AWTFA, it's not as well written as AWTFA, but I like this story's concept. Spirit to Flesh by Littlewings2, A Quiet Fire by Magnolia822. Did you read Youth Without Age by Goldenmeadow? So well written I can't stand it! I know I recc'd it but I can't remember if you read it already or not. I enjoyed all of these; PM me if you need me to break them down further.
I have read all the Lux books and really really enjoy the series... the cliffhangers kill me though! Did you read the spinoff book called Obsession? It was pretty good too. Can't wait til the next book in the Lux series comes out. Will it be the final book?
Not to change the subject (I haven't read YellowGlue either), but someone just asked to join our PTS anonymous group on FB that I don't know. It's not even someone I've seen around in the Twilight FB groups. So if it is anyone from here, let me know or PM me and I will add you. Otherwise I will ignore it.
Hi, Ella! It's not me, but may you please add me to that group? Thank you! Name's Nastassia Stark in FB.
Sure, no problem. I think it's only closed Oilily. Maybe it should be secret? We don't use it much. I just don't want to be spammed. Or have weird drama.
For those of you that read Art After 5... is Counterpoint worth reading? I'm guessing is EPOV but same basic story?
I didn't know that we have a FB group page. I think I may have to find that and join.
Does anyone have All in the Family by dollybigmomma? I tried to post this earlier, but it looks like it didn't go through! Please and thank you!
