Hiya hun, we don't post fics over here - we just rec and chat about them (among other things )Have you tried You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login? As you'll have more luck overe there. Good luck
Well it would make sense that I couldn't find my post from earlier, because I posted it on the right thread originally! Thanks for replying, my mistake!
I was sure I saved this but I can't find it. Can someone email me a copy at
Am currently on chapter 4 of Colleen Hoover's Maybe Somebody. absolutely loving it! She is one of my fave authors. nothing was grabbing my attention so i chose to read her book. I tend to postpone reading some books of my favorite authors, saving it for days like these when nothing on my library appeals to me. Her stories are a bit angsty hence i don't immediately start reading her work when it comes out. But the way she writes really gets to me, makes me feel... She's brilliant IMO! Note: she has a good mix of humor and angst for me. Reading alone at a restaurant after finishing my solo meal waiting for traffic to subside, am trying to supress my laugh bec the portion am reading is sooo funny.
demaris - which InDeath are you on now?
I really wish authors wouldn't class fics as Angst when it's just drama. Just finished reading You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login by chynnadoll36. It was pretty good, but it could of done with being shorter. There was just drama for the sake of drama and the author kept saying chapters were going to be real angsty but that wasn't the case.
For those of you that read Art After 5... is Counterpoint worth reading? I'm guessing is EPOV but same basic story?
Dose any one have some good cheating fics to recommend posted or pulled.
I just made it Secret so I will have to post a link. This should work. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Is there enough activity there to make it worth asking to join? I don't spend much time on Facebook so I need a good reason if I'm going there.
For some reason I read the author as chlamydia! WTF! I'm losing my mind.....
How obsessed can people be when a site has to create a facebook page for when the regular site is down - ie, Perusing the Shelves and InDeath.net? I'm rarely on facebook either except for when InDeath is down - almost never- and when one of my fellow moderators decides to be obnoxious and give me poke to get me onto facebook (which I might do a week after Donna has poked me). demaris - did you remember to read Remember When? You only need to pay attention to the Eve/Roarke half. A number of people don't even pay attention to the first half of the book since it doesn't have Eve/Roarke/accompanying characters. I snorted over chynnadoll/chlamydia - I did something similar the other day only it wasn't that one - If I remember what I was reading at the time and what I misread the name as I'll post it. It isn't clicking right this minute - I just know I blinked and reread it. You've all reminded me - I really need to spend more time on Goodreads.
Lol, you're not alone hun - when I first saw here name I read it as chlamydia as well and was like
Yes, the cliffhangers are evil! I love those though. Gives me the drive to read the next book. I read Obsession actually at first, because I marked it incidentally as first book in the series. I liked it, but it really should be read after the first book. The next book as the last as far as I know. Cassandra Clare finished The Mortal Instruments series. I grabbed the book (City of Heavenly Fire), but I have yet to read it.
I don't know this Lux series you mentioned....would you recommend it to me? Knowing my.....tastes? But if it's not dine then, forget it I'll wait; I've enough going on with the never ending saga that's InDeath.

I read it and didn't feel like it was a complete waste of time. It's mostly the ramblings of Edward, the love struck teen. There were a couple scenes from Art After 5 that I was hoping would have been mentioned, like when Bella was being super abrasive about something and it led to Edward locking himself in the bathroom so he could cry..it also highlights what a douche Edward can be while trying to get over Bella. That's probably the mirrored chapters of him acting out over Bella going all New Moon on him. Then there's the HEA sequel she wrote which includes Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.I just read her story, Hopeless and loved it! I actually read a couple reviews on goodreads where they claimed one of the characters was a creepy stalker and put it on my list of books to avoid, but somehow I forgot about that and ended up reading it anyway. Glad I did! It was an easy read and it turned out, she released another book in a different POV where that character knew how creepy he was being. I liked the whole series. Goodreads is helping me find all sorts of new things to read. I just wish they had a better way to sort ratings and reviews. FF.net has spoiled me, now that they have the sort by review count option.
Sure, no problem.
I love Colleen Hoover, can't tell you why, it's another of those perplexing conundrums, but Slammed is an almost perfect YA story. A lot of YA authors could learn more than a thing or two from her. I haven't read Maybe Someday, keep meaning to, it's there on my iPad, waiting, but....yeah, see below... Creation....I keep getting distracted when people recc/post links to stories *coughloopycough* and me being a Nosy Parker just has to click and read! For some reason I read the author as chlamydia! WTF! I'm losing my mind.....
