reading Life in B Minor by jaxington and for such a well written story there are quite a few typos. I think I just found the worst one yet:

I finished Simply Coffee by Edward's Eternal which was apparently her first work. It was ok.

Bluegeek, your post made me decide to read one too. Then scrolling through my books my finger stopped at A Band Called Twilight by Ggtwinmoms06. A lot of Spags, which bothered me simply bec the writing was juvenile. Rather than being pulled in by the story, i became more interested in the SPaGs

. It's not a total write off. Luckily, several pages were of song lyrics (skipped) so was able to finish fast. Put it way down your TBR

"he kissed my neck I had to bight back a whimper. " (WTF?! Worst spelling of bite, ever!)

"I came out of the bathroom, honestly I couldn't complain too much. Then I saw Rose, defiantly didn't want to complain." - was she defiant in her complaint or what. Definitely does not know the spelling...

"Well depends on what you conceder fresh and young" - i give up

It's like she wanted to show off her sophistication/vocabulary by using big words. Sadly, it wasn't used in proper context. Or she just doesn't spell well and didn't know there is a difference in the meaning. Spelled it like she heard/spoke it $:-\$

Faking It is one of my favourite Actorward...Bella is the lead singer in a band and she's a bit 'girl next door' and her record company wants to 'dirty' her up a bit and Edward need his image 'cleaned' so they line up them up to 'date'. Loved it! I'm actually in between stories at the moment, goof time for a re-read me thinks!

Loved Lost Boys too, its been P2P ( can't remember what it's called in RL) and I've read both; they are carbon copies apart from the names and peripheral elements.

Tropics of Virgo, good rec. One of the best Band Fics out there, in my opinion.

Edward Cullen lead singer of „Eclipse‟ a very famous, popular and sought after band. When his band is informed that they will be going on a year long tour across the US they are all excited; having done tours before. The record label informs „Eclipse‟ that they have chosen the opening act which will be an up and coming all girl band who has a decent following called „Hushed Mentality‟. Edward is not impressed with girl bands though he has never seen this one. To him they are all just pop tart bands; he is livid. When the label only ignores Edwards complaints he decides that he will get them off this tour his own way. Will Bella allow her band to be pushed aside and forced off of the tour? What will happen to them all along the way? Long ass summary but I enjoyed this story...

Groupie: Noun. A fan of a singer/band who usually follows around on concert tours. Girl meets boy, they become best friends. She falls in love, and he is clueless. Can she ever be more than a Groupie to him? E/B Angst, Drama, Romance Can't give a opinion as though this one has been on my TBR for a millennium I have yet to read it.

Bella's 24. She's got a career she loves, close family & friends, and a little girl she loves more than anything. She doesn't need anything more, but sometimes she sure wants it, and when Edward shows up he'll either upset the balance or make everything sweeter. A WitFit.

I actually read this yesterday and thought the plot was similar to the cheesy romantic made for television movies churned out by Lifetime.

I've been making my way through a "Famous Edward" fic list, and came across Faithfully by LailaB. I'd never read it, and downloaded it yesterday only to realize it's not complete, which is why I'd never have known about it. I came on here to see if anyone else has read it and found an old discussion that some of you all were having. I only made it a couple chapters before I wanted to flounce. The Edward narrative is just really gross and misogynistic, and I was only two or three chapters in! I think the Famous Edward stories usually come with some back story about why he's such an asshole and rude to women, and I usually have issues with those stories too, but I think this one just took the cake. He even has some discussion with himself about how he needs to come clean about what an ass he's been before he can go forward with the start of a relationship with Bella all "ugh she's going to hate me and the person I used to be" but Bella should be flattered that he's changing himself for her because she's his ~one true love~

This seems like a situation where an author takes her ideal traits in a man and turned them into a character? This character is a larger than life rock star that's hounded by the paparazzi and he's never been known to step out with a lady, and it's so earth shattering that it makes the news at night. WHAT?! The only time I ever see news about celebrities, is on an entertainment channel, and even then, no one is really checking for some nobody that's dating a musician for all of a week unless you're a megafan of that person.

I'm looking for E/B stories where Edward isn't so understanding about the fact that Bella is always crossing the line with Jacob, especially the Eclipse kiss. Stories I've read so far on that subject are few and far between but include:

I enjoyed The Stench Wars by Bookishqua It is very humorous though.

I'm still working my way through some of the older stories on after new moon.

Another good one is by Nolebucgrl called Sacrificial Lamb. It starts with the kiss and Bella realizes right away she needs to push Jake away.

Hopefully one of these works.
