Oh! You know what? I've not even considered slash involving other characters as I tend to only read Twifics where Edward takes centre stage, but ya know what? I might give that a try....Do you have any recs?

Lol, you don't need to divorce me.... yet - I'm Liverpool Fan.  :)
TBH, I really should support Yeovil or Bristol City as they're the nearest teams to me but Liverpool has been good to my family.
My Aunt used to clean for the FC, and I've another Aunt that used clean for Man U so the rest of the family used to try and annoy both of them by playing them of against each other.  :D :D

I've been waiting for ever for an update on Honest Liar, I thought my eyes were deceiving me.  :P :P

Hi,

Please pray for Astro's dad. He will be having open heart surgery tomorrow, monday. Hopefully the combined power of our prayers will help make him get better.

She told me to send her love to everyone here.

Thanks!

P.S. Am currently in Malaysia to attend a conference. Might be too busy to check in here the next 5 days. However, if i do receive word from Astro, will definitely let you guys know.
Sending good vibes and prayers Astro's Dads way.  :-* :-* :-* :-*
Hope that you manage to get some down time while in Malaysia  :-* :-*

Bella once told me that there was nothing braver than a flower growing through a crack in the sidewalk. I laughed because she was always giving feelings to things that don't feel. If she was standing next to me, I'd tuck the dandelion behind her ear. Or she'd blow on it and make a wish. A hundred wishes. Or maybe just one.

Has anyone read The Crooked Knife by Browneyedbluez? I'm on chapter 130 of 403. I'm liking it so I don't want to flounce it but I feel like I need to take a break and come back to it.

Bear Creak is on my TBR are you saying it's worth moving up the list?

Bear Creak is definitely worth moving up the list! I'm nearly through and it took me only two days (very short time for me). One of the best fics I read lately and it definitely goes on my all-time-favorite list.

It's funny: I have a Re-read list also, but I fear reading something from that. I'm afraid I won't like the fics I loved back then and ruin my good memories with the re-read. I keep adding fics to the list though.  :-[ It's my safe place for emergencies if I run out of new fics.  :D

Bear Creek was GREAT! I will read anything where Edward has a full beard and drives a pick up truck  ^-^ As far as re-reading stories, I've found that maybe 1/3 of the stories I've gone back to, were not nearly as satisfying the second time around :( Mostly because I already know what occurs, and the majority of the stories I go back to read again are drama/romance and I just can't get over how stupid some of the characters can be when it comes to creating a dramatic plot device. So much self sacrificing and hidden feelings that are never shared until years later..

I remember reading Hydraulic Level 5 back when it was still a WIP and forgetting about it, and really enjoying the story, but I re-read it in it's complete form and just could not get over what a douche Edward is in that story. My god.

BTW I just wanted to mention this story I just finished for those of you that prefer vamp fic vs AH fic. It's old, but I just found it recommended on another message board. I really enjoyed it, up until the last few chapters where Volturi politics come into play. Kind of a canon twist on Breaking Dawn, my least favorite Twilight novel  :(

I'm a non-canon reader, but I will read canon if the story is different.  I really enjoyed this.

Love and best wishes to Astro, hope her dad continues to improve.

This is a good Rockstarward!

There is a Light by belladonnacullen

This was 1987; before the Internet, before Twitter, before Facebook – this was back when it was still possible for people not to know about things: big things - like bands, and little things - like G-spots. AH, ExB (really liked this one, crazywardrockstar/youngbella/story spans their lifetime)

I still haven't read this one! I guess I should move it up my list!

Thanks for all of the band/rock star fic recommendations.  If you haven't read "There is a Light" I would also recommend it, despite the age difference.

After going through all of the recommendations, I found one that is already on my ereader "Golden Giants Tour" so I downloaded all of the others I haven't read, and will start on the Golden Giants Tour once I am done with Offside (which I had started already).  All the others have been downloaded and join the list to be added to my ereader once I do a major update.

Very happy to hear Astro's dad is doing well. We miss her.
