Am I the only one that anxious for  Ms Day to just release Cross Series numero tre already! Fuck sake!  :021:  :banghead: :violent-smiley-007: :pulling. I really need for this series to be finished, like, yesterday; it's holding up my library clean up!  :D Anyone hear any whispers on a 'on-shelf' date ladies?  :-*
I get this feeling that it might be happening sooner than we think as she has been posting quite a few "teasers" on FB etc. I need Gideon now, dammit!!!  :D :D
But then we have the dreaded wait for the (hopefully) last book after this one.
I just hope the TV series starts soon as it might help with the Gideon cravings.

Loopy dearest, I'm confused. Ms Paixao is now reposting on FFN? Northland has updated there? But Crash is still just on her blog? Decide already... ???

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
I'm confused about it all well hun, as I got an email for Northland being updated on her blog and then another email saying it was updated on FFN. So I think she's posting on both.
But from what I gather Crash is just on her blog, unless she decides to re-post on FFN but I don't think she will as she pulled it from there at the beginning of the year.

The pictures are great (his reviews have been good too) - he finally seems to be coming into his own.

I'm glad for him.  One of the things I've noticed about him is the better his co-stars and directors, the better his performance.

Bravo Rob!!!   :-*

I LOVED the Wedding Party and Faking It.  Let me give this some thought.  I'm bound to think of something.

Have you read Eight Days a Week by 107yearoldvirgin?
I forgot that I already had the Wedding Party on my kindle!  Thanks for reminding me to push it up! Still haven't read Eight Days a Week...  is it as good as Puddle Jumping and FAP?

I haven't read Puddle Jumping yet.  I like FAP, but I think Eight Days a week is better.  I always thought FAP was a little rushed.

You need to push The Wedding Party up higher on your TBR list. It's high on my list of favorites.

Yeah - the Cannes pictures, reviews, etc. have all been good (good? How about great!).  and yes he needs more exposure - the only problem is that a number of people who saw Twilight and sequels still think of him as Edward and have closed their minds to him being a good actor.   I moderate on another website and the Rob love just isn't there - I'm waiting for everyone to eat their words the more movies he does and good reviews that he gets.  I'm bummed out that he has dropped out of Mission Blacklist because I think he would have been fantastic but you  can't have everything.   I'm consoling myself with the fact that Brad Pitt and Leo Decaprio started out the same way - he's talked to both of them and gotten advice which he is evidently paying attention to (I have a friend whose husband is an entertainment lawyer - Brad is one of their clients and Leo is a friend and they steered Rob in Brad's and Leo's direction - and vice versa - they are also part of a support group that was set up for him about 4 years ago when he was trying to deal with the paps and having problems dealing with them).

Recommendations needed PLEASE!

Ugh!  I keep flouncing fic after fic and it is becoming so depressing. Seriously, I think I've started and stopped at least 25 in the last two days.  I will take ANY recommendations that fit these categories:

Sweetish Bella (I don't like when she is too snarky).  I tend to like her a bit shy and awkward.  Similar to the book, but I will take a little backbone, just not too much.  :)
No BSDM
A little or a lot of angst
A slow burn...some really good, UST, I just LOVE when you want them together so bad it hurts.

Otherwise I'm open to pretty much any type of Edward.

PLEASE PLEASE tell me you have something.

Some of my favorite fics (in case this helps understand what I like/don't like):
The Wedding Party by spanglemaker9
Faking It by spanglemaker9
A Quiet Fire by magnolia822
Help Wanted by Jaxon22

Have you read Falling For You by JenGreen03?  It's one of my favorite stories.  I believe it ticks all (or almost all) the boxes on your list.

Puddle Jumping was the first fan fic I ever read, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.  :) I hadn't heard of fan fic before, but I saw a review on a blog site when I was looking for Breaking Dawn release dates and since my best friend's son has Aspergers I thought I'd check it out. Haven't looked back since.

I loved Eight Days a Week, there is one particular line near the end which has stayed with me as being pretty much perfect (I think it's the writer in me that makes me odd like that lol) Give it a go, it's worth it. Don't know if anyone has said, but Amber is publishing them both within the next few months.

I'm disappointed about Mission Blacklist too, I really thought that could have been breakout role for him.  He has some good things coming up so we do have things to look forward to.

He also is starting to look more comfortable in his own skin which is great, he looks happier and more relaxed than he has in a long time.

I hope you're right and he is getting good advice, he is a lot more talented than people give him credit for and hopefully that will be recognized soon.

It was commissioned last August for it to be made into a You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and I remember Sylvia posting pics on FB that filming had started in NY in January/February, so I'm hoping that by the end of the year Gideon will be on our screens.
I've no idea who the cast is though, I just hope that whoever is Gideon can pull it off week after week.  ;D
I reckon this is why it went from a trilogy to a 5 book series.  >:D >:D

Rob's success at Cannes is remarkable and noteworthy by how much respect he got as well as standing ovations.  Ryan Gosling is probably eating his heart out.  His film got booed today at Cannes and got trashed by the media.

I read the first couple of chapters.  Poor grammar, poor story flow, unlikely concept.  Don't know if it gets better.

I tried Google, Dogpile, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Bing and a few other search engines and couldn't find anything. I even searched IMBD and still nothing.  :( :(
I know I'm not imagining it, I'll try searching twitter and FB and see if I can find the post about them filming, as I recall it was a scene with the band.

  • Hi! I'm Ellachanted and I'm a fanfic-oholic.
Been traveling this last week and somehow missed an update. The pics of the Pretty are so great. Thanks for sharing. ;)

I think I started the discussion on SAF because I thought it was a comment on her looks. As women, we shouldn't criticize other women's looks. There is too much pressure on looking a certain way.  But then Demaris said the name had more to do with SAF's attitude and not her looks. I was fine with that. Attitudes can be changed.  ;D

Happy late birthday Limomx2. Hope is was good.

Andimoe, your son is so cute. And Loopy, though the dog is really cute, having been on a low carb diet the last few weeks, I'd rather have the cake.  :D :D :D

So I just finished Awaken by Edward's Eternal. It was a good story. Bit of a mystery. Edward is a musician losing his sight. E & B fall in love awfully fast. Though Edward's issues cause problems.

My biggest problem with EE's stories is that Bella always has blue eyes. So to me, she is not Bella. She doesn't mention the eye color much so I can ignore it.

I completely agree, I have a feeling she is describing herself and living vicariously through her stories.  If she mentions the eye color often - I flounce.  I try to ignore it otherwise.  ;D

All I found was the press release from Lionsgate saying they had bought the rights, nothing about when it was due out or casting or anything. So I doubt they are filming yet, or there would be an entry on IMDB.
