I had a major issue with the stache image too... I put off reading it forever because of that! LOL There was even a cover art image that someone made and he really did have a manchu. Does anyone still have it? Totally not my thing! I like scruff, but not a full manchu! ;-)
I'm about half way through The Tutor... I was hoping to really like this one, but I think maybe I've read too many great fics now to love this one as much as I'd hoped. Register or LoginI'm not sure why I never posted about this before, but I just saw a link to it and it reminded me... a friend surprised me with tickets to the show when I was visiting her and it was seriously the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. If you guys are anywhere near a show you simply must go! It pokes fun at the author and of fanfiction and of the whole "rich guy/plain girl" genre of books! It's extremely raunchy! Like, the stuff they talk about has got to be XXX rated... And the musical numbers! Just too funny. It's only 3 people on stage... one is the author and she's writing the book and then these two other actors are acting it out as she writes it.

I am really liking this one. It's also been months since i was "eager" to go back to reading a fanfic. Slept at 3am (slow reader), woke up at 6 and instead of going back to sleep, i went back to reading it. I have to say that The Tutor may be the only fic apart from Dusty that I have read more than once, I really enjoyed it but it was read a long time ago when I first started my slide down the wormhole, and it has the added accolade of introducing me to Jonny Lang's Breakin' Me which I downloaded to my iPhone and every time I hear it reminds me of my innocent, virginal days of Twific 101.
