There are many things my mother-in-law and I disagree on, but we both agree that Christmas is for family.  While I love my PTS family, being with my RL family is important.  It's been a great day for my family.  I wish many blessings on all of you in this wonderful season.

Than you FFG. I hope you've had a good day. Thankfully it is now 0.42 GMT and so Christmas is officially O.V.E.R! Yee ha!  :13:

BTW when did Kerr Smith become, well... old? And an unsub  :o  :D

Yeah season 5; just watching the episode The Quarterback. The awful thing is that Lea is always so dramatic I can't tell whether these emotions are real or not...still, kudos for getting on with it.   :(
I agree hun, Lea is definitely a great singer but she is OTT with her acting most of the time.
But I think that she was being real during this episode.  ;D

I think Romy Rosemont did a great job as Finn's mum in that episode she may not be on screen much during it but she completely slays me when she says “I’m still a mother, but I don’t have a child is something I don’t know how to do.”  :'( :'(

I loved Kerr Smith in DC but his limb obsession on CM just made me laugh and I couldn't believe how grey he's gone.  :o :P :P

I'm glad you survived, Demaris.  I hope you managed to have a least a few minutes when you were happy to be around others.

Loopy, it sounds like great, exhausting fun at your house.  AND, it sounds like your husband is not only a hunky PT and a good cook, but also like he's got your number.

I'll admit that when I got out of bed this morning I was not looking forward to catering to my elderly in-laws all day, when I prefer to have everything revolve around the children.  But, it's good for the kids to think of others while they're being spoiled, and the in-laws are too old to stay the whole day.  I got great food, champagne, gifts and a nap.  Plus, my kids and my husband are happy with their gifts and each other's company.  We officially count our blessings on Thanksgiving here, but Christmas is a good time to remember all the good people in our lives (and there's still time for books at the end of the day while the kids are playing with their new toys!).

It got better around the 6th glass of champoo!  :D :D  I've eaten so much I really uncomfortable, and have to lie propped up in bed like those overly corpulent individuals that can't lie down flat in case they suffocate in their sleep?  Yep, that's me!  :D :D

On another topic; has anyone read the P2P version of Diva Diaries, and if so how much editing has she done? Is it worth reading if you've already read DD?

I'm not usually that big a fan of champagne, but we had really good champagne today.  It does help make everything simpler.

I haven't read the published version of the Diva Diaries, but I get the impression that instead of going back and forth between POVs, Bad Romeo is going to be strictly from Edward's (or whatever he's called in the published version) POV, with the follow up book being in Bella's (or whatever she's called in the published version) POV.  But, I'm just guessing.

Happy Christmas everyone. Still got a couple more hours left till it's over. It was a good day, spent it with my family. I really ate too much.....it was just too good to pass up.

Dior really smells good....my hubby likes it. He used to like Armani Code but now he prefers D&G.

I hope you all had a wonderful day. I'm off to bed...I'm exhausted. Kitchen is clean and the kids and hubby are downstairs watching Guardians of the Galaxy. I don't have any energy left....later...

I'm not kidding i try all the time to write a post and something goes wrong every time, honestly I normally give up and spend the next 20 minutes looking through the index giving my self a headaches trying to remember the name of the fic i was looking for.
Not the point, the point is ...
i just finished reading "Good in the Stacks" a nicely warm and steamy librarianward, even better if you have read any of the pieces mentioned. Although I am not sure who this Judy Bloom person is, the author or the main character? is it some kind or pre-teen smut?
Still not the point.
The point is from reading this I remembered a fic i read a long time ago, i really can't recall a lot just random points that hopefully help:
   * Edward owns a bookstore and may or may not live upstairs
   * his employee and best friend is gay and one again could be named Seth
   * Bella has a daughter with jasper but they were never together, he is married to Alice
   * Bella goes to his bookstore once a week when her daughter is at some kind of activity
   * things get very hot between the rows in his store more than once
   * at one point in the story he has a motorcycle accident which i think makes Bella believe that he has stood her up.
That might not be a lot to go on but that is all i can remember about it.

Cheers

I think the fic you're looking for is called First Edition by Lambcullen which should be in the index. Looking for Post Breaking Dawn Story Twilight Fan Fiction
« Reply #5456 on: December 26, 2014, 07:17 PM »
I'm looking for fan fiction that continues the story of twilight.
There are a lot of stories out there that take place in the world. But most take place during the original books or have Alternate Stories.
I'm looking for a story about happens after breaking dawn. A continuation of the story.
Please someone link me to a story that is good. :)

Finished!Designated Hitter is a 2.5* I think, the author clearly knew the world she was writing about but I found that there was more situational information than I needed to enjoy the story....On the plus side there were a number of breaks from canon characterisations, I always like that.

Now, Wisp? Maybe?

I have started a lot but only finished a few. Most are a little annoying because they change canon too much.  The first I would recommend is by Dooba the lady writing Torn. Mostly I liked it. She's from Holland so her grasp of American schools is a little off.  I'm on my phone so I'll just post the link. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

If I think of others I will let you know. I think Content1 wrote a continuing series but it's still on my TBR list because it's pretty long. I  think there are 3 stories in it.

2.5 for bad writing or because it's too fluffy? ;)
