I have a question...how do you usually choose a ff?? first thing i read the summary and note if it is complete or not. I also look at the reviews but sometimes they lead me to orrible fics

I read the summary first. If I like the story line, no spag issues I check to see if it's completed. I then read the first few chapters to really see if it's something I can get into. I have to get a feel of how the author writes before committing myself to the story. Reviews do play a part in what I check out but I go mainly on recs given on the various sites.  Lastly, it has to be a B&E hea Fic. I don't do wips, I just put the story on alert if I like it and wait till it is complete.
I am not a big drinker of beer but some green shite was forced on me and I'm never doing that crap again. It's good to try new things but that was just wrong

I pick stories in many different ways.  Mostly I read the summary, verify it's complete and maybe look at the first chapter writing to see how bad it is.  I also get recs from here & other places.  But really? I don't look at reviews. 

Also? I'm not a big beer drinker but I usually like porters and bochs -those are dark beers

Really? 9 days and then holidays? If it weren't for the kids, I think I'd love being a teacher.  So much time off.

 Yeah I know  *sigh*  but I had to chose accounting my mom told me to be a teacher in this case I should of listen but nnnoooo, I had to say but mom I love accounting. Now I only get at work a week worth of vacation time  on the plus side I get national holidays too so I guess I can't complain   

I do the same, but, I will read the first couple of chapters to get a feel for the story and the writing style.  If I don't like it I flounce.

The number of reviews can be misleading.  Sometimes, an author reposts a story and keeps the number of reviews from the first posting. In other cases some popular authors have fan clubs and the minions just review for the sake of it - in my opinion anyway.

I don't drink any kind of beer - yuck.

I read the summary, look at the author, if it's complete... then I read the first chapter and sometimes the last chapter and then I download it and keep it for later...  or I read it immediately when I really like it.

I never go by reviews!

During the last weeks it was really difficult find a decent story! But i didn't Know about PTS I've started reading Blood&Glory which was reccomanded by some of you, and I'm in love with it!

I've picked up this stupid chest cold that's going around and I've been wondering how much does one really need to breathe?  I mean really?

I know it's still a WIP - I was reading it a while ago but kinda found that some the chapters were boring, I was wondering if it's worth getting back into?

I need some advice.

im taking some online classes.
The reasoning logic teacher is slipping up on his grammar.

he did two major ones, and one of them he already said it 5 times in the video im watching right now.
Its the kind of mistake uneducated people make.


should i write an email telling him or the course supervisor about it?
or just let it go?
i cant think of an example in english to compare.

Is there a course evaluation at the end of the course?  If so, I would note the problem there.  If not, I would make my own course evaluation at the end of the course (maybe after I had my grade reported) and send it to the course supervisor.

It's been a while, but I know my bar exam prep course had an evaluation for each instructor.  However, if you don't have to worry about retaliation, I think you go ahead and report it to the course supervisor.  It won't change the video you're watching, but maybe they'll fix it for future course takers.
