I'm attempting to write some Twilight fanfiction, but it's not going well, so I won't link. (I'm turning 22 in a few weeks and haven't actually sat down to write anything since I was about 16. Getting back into the habit is slow going.) I'm starting my Twilight fanfiction ~~addiction~~ adventure with the extremely popular "Wide Awake". Anyone have suggestions on where to go from there?

There are some folks on here who will happily give you wonderful lists of stories to read, although you should narrow the field some so they know whether you want (i) just Edward and Bella or if you're willing to read other couplings, (ii) vampire or human, (iii) angst, humor, smut, no rape, no cheating, or any other nos. My lazy way of recommending good stories is to go to the link below this message and start reading the stories that have been uploaded on this site (unless they're marked incomplete). These are many of the classics of fandom that are no longer available on fanfiction.net. Then find a community on fanfiction.net that specializes in the type of fiction you like to read or check out twibrary (link is in the first page of this thread: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login). Finally, keep an eye on this thread as we read and recommend stories we're reading now.

Welcome! You probably will want to start with mostly Edward/Bella stuff, I'm sure.

I just finished drotuno's Angelward series - you will find that we use -ward to describe the type of Edward. Anyway, i can definitely rec it. Broken Angel is the first.

Once i was pissed at the teacher because we had a famous criminal case in my city, where some kids put an indian on fire. not to mention it was the national indian day. Some years later the guys were seen having a normal life, they were still supposed to be in jail. Well, my teacher was their lawyer and started to defend the kids in the classroom. It pissed me off.
And he had a very strict policy to drunk drivers. Those were the devil incarnated. All the examples etc, no second chances or rehabilitation for drunk drivers. So i questioned him why drunk drivers werent allowed a second chance but those sick pyros were?

This guy was a 60 something yo teacher, he also taught philosophy, he ignored me ans resumed his lesson to the other side of the class not looking at me. Then at the end of class he was calling all the names out loud to check attendance and he said to me: every point of view is seen differently from another point of view.

idiot. it took him 50 minutes to think of that.

the other teacher got annoyed with me, that was for my bar exam prep course, i had an internship at the Superior Court, so i knew i had more in depth knowledge about some things. So when i gave better explanation in class than what he did he got all pissy at me for the rest of the course.

All i wanted to know was if i would need to know that much for the exam or not. He thought i was showing off.

last week i corrected the economics teacher in front of the whole class.
something about history, so it wasnt his subject, and i think i did it in an ok way. not humiliating.

its not like i have any doubts about economics, i dont understand it enough to have any. but i was worried afterwards that he would never answer my questions or doubts in the future.

You may want to send him an email. But mostly I agree with ficfangirl, put it in the course eval unless it affects the class. Do you need to be grammatically correct in logical reasoning?

That would be annoying.... Ignore it if you can or say something to the course supervisor I guess. That sort of thing is hard to correct unfortunately. $:-\$

I prefer longer stories to one shots and I especially love series because they give the author time to take the characters from Point A to Point Z in their arcs.
