Oh my word, such a confusing description. Perfect examples of lemons that should just be skipped. Guess Edward likes the tastes of soap or was he moaning in distaste?  ;D :D

I thought the same thing.  I would be moaning too, if I had a mouth full of soap.

There's also rmcrms5 who wrote The Perfect Wife, but P2P as Michael Schneider's Darkness of Perfection

I thought I remembered reading an a/n about a husband who is handicapped.

Yep - this Michael is a woman...or a cross dresser!  :D

Bella gets sent to a school by her boyfriend to help her become the wife he wants. All isn't what Bella expects.

I read both of these as WIPS at around the same time. They both gave me quite an education!  :o

Reading them as WIPs broke up the torment. I wouldn't re-read either of them.

Really graphic and gross disclaimer - especially if you're eating breakfast!!!

Speaking of the Diva Cup...   You guys had me almost convinced until I read about the "air lock".    Isn't that something that happens in deep space with astronauts?     :chicken:

The menstrual cup is first folded, and then inserted into the vagina. It will normally unfold automatically and create a light seal against the vaginal walls.

well astro as per the norm you entertained me with your quick wit and humor.  I have to say I have been debating using the diva cup but I am truly leaning towards ordering this month.   :-*

Do it!

Today!

This thing has changed my life! I've never coped well with my period, but I hardly know I've got it at the moment!

A few of you have mentioned applicator tampons - these are as rare as hen's teeth here in Australia. A few brands sell them, but they are promoted as a "tampon training tool" and are aimed at teenage girls.

Is anyone else still reading A Prescription for Love? I think this chapter might be the one that makes me flounce. So ridiculous.

Also, all this PMS talk has sparked my own monthly visitor (again!). Are we all completely synced, now? :D

The Training School was...interesting. Like Anne Rice's Beauty trilogy, they're not exactly erotica, but disturbing dramas. I heard Kitty Thomas writes similarly (i.e. quite dark).

Edward's has soap in his mouth here and I'm not sure if if someone was pounding their head on his door or if he was pounding his head on his door while he was going downtown.  What do you think?

"I nuzzled my face back into her soaping pussy and moaned at her taste. I was about to rip the offending cloth that was covering what I most wanted until I head pounding on my door."

And another one I love is 'The Affair' and this one is complete but it's not marked complete. The summary might put you off but I think it's worth it.

Thanks. I'll try 'The Affair'.

Actually I thought 'The Perfect Wife' wasn't that bad (don't want to enrage anyone here :) It's a lot like Emancipation Proclamation, I mean the topic, only in EM we don't see all the gory details of Bella's life before the Cullens. IMHO

Thanks again.

I don't know if somebody already mentioned Johnnyboy7, I think he's a college student or was... I'm not sure.

He has some good ones, there is 'There will be blood' and it's sequel 'There will be freedom' .
They have somethiing to do with the mob/mafia?. I havent read them but they ate on my TBR list.

He has a OS that I like, 'She flies her own wings' it was an entry for the os Enchantment contest.

And another one I love is 'The Affair' and this one is complete but it's not marked complete. The summary might put you off but I think it's worth it.

And I didn't put any links because I'm on my phoneand it's a pain in the a s s to copy and paste. :D

Johnnyboy is the same age my oldest son, which totally freaked me out in the beginning. So, if he was on track, he should have graduated from the university in May. I think he went to college somewhere near Boston however, he comes from Atlanta, Ga way. I read both TWbF and TWBB as wips. The plot is good, but tons of errors, needs a good beta, and definitely some work in the writing lemons.  They had tons of reviews, but to me they were just ok.

UoEM, SR hates writing lemons, but he does it well. Just a bashful author who like bow ties and argyle socks. It was a long time before we even knew he was a man reading UOEM. Most of us swore he really is a professor in Canada in real life, the other half wondered if he was Icy's husband. lol. He won't really talk about his private life, other than how he got started with ff. He found ff because one night he couldn't sleep. They had tried a long time to have a child and she miscarried. So he started writing. His first book, Gabriel's Inferno is dedicated to Mia.

I don't know of any other ones.

I'm looking at my story alert list thing from  ff and I have some WIP's that I started reading but haven't updated in ages... it's driving me crazy.  :-\

Grasping Darkness, Hunger Light by KiyaRaven
How to Paint a House By maggies gutter
A May to December Romance by Positively 4th Street
Bright Like the Sun by dryler
Faithfully by LailaB
Expetations and Other Moving Pieces by chrometurtle
The Blizzard by sheviking

I Want You To Want Me by The Perisher ----- And this one I LOVE, but I don't even know if it will ever get finished. :'( If it weren't because it's abandoned I would rec this. I think it's so well written. And it actually has a plot, to say the story is 38 chapters long and Edward and Bella weren't together yet. But they were getting there. :'(

I have more but this are the one's I read as WIP because they USED to update regularly.

Sheviking went Mia for awhile. She had to take a job while trying to finish her thesis to make ends meet. Two of her stories have updated. I will be glad when she is back for good.

Grasping darkness, hungry light is done. It really felt like the author didn't know where to take it next. She said she might come back and visit it after her next ff is done.

Word of warning...  DO NOT read Once Upon a Saturday right before bed.   I rarely cry when I read...  very rarely!  I think maybe only twice (Time Traveler's Wife and Hopeless)  Well, this short followup to FaN really did me in!  It pulled at all my mom heartstrings!    I am glad that you guys had given me a little bit of a heads up on the outcome!

I think Fridays at Noon (&Once Upon a Saturday) was the best fic I've read so far.   Definitely much better than 75% of the real books I've been reading lately.

Now i need to try to figure out what to read next.   Here are the ones on my "read soon" list...   Anyone have an opinion on which is the best?  :sign0085:

The Darkest Hour
Words with Friends
I Love Mr. North
It Happened One Night
Deviant
The Wedding Party
The Tutor

Thanks for this info on UoEM.   I'm so surprised to hear that he didn't like writing lemons.    I personally thought they were the best I've read.  The romance was incredible!   So, you read it as a WIP and didn't realize the author was a man?  I would have never guessed myself.   The name he used was not very gender specific.

Did I mention I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out in December.   :sparklyheart:

I liked Fridays at Noon right up until the end

There is a OS I cry everytime I read it, but it's not Canon, it's Jake/Bella:

Do You Remember? by LJ Summers
A winner in the Sort of Beautiful Challenge, this is a story about unconditional love and the value of memory. Jacob and Bella have been married for about forty years when the Cullens want to visit for what is possibly the last time. One-shot.

But it kinda has a HEA
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
The Perfect Wife is one of the fics on my re-read list as I've read it several times but I've to be in the right type of mood for it.
As for the published version - The Darkness of Perfection is definitely different to the fic and it annoyed the bejesus out of me as it ended on a cliffhanger of sorts and there apparently isn't gonna be a sequel.  >:(

I do think I need a change of pace!  I think I might read Words with Friends next...   While very improbable, I like to think that stuff like this can happen in the real world! LOL

About FaN -
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

About the One Shot - I have never read anything but Edward/Bella, but this has me interested.    So, in this one, was she previously in love with Edward and then now married to Jacob?
