That actually really annoys me about fics - you shouldn't use the possibility of a sequel to excuse a rushed finish. A sequel is a continuation of a story, not an ending.

Frontline sat for about a year with nothing happening. It wouldn't surprise me to find out she rushed the ending just to get people off her back. It probably wasn't as well done as she originally planned, considering how good it started. I don't remember if it was RL issues or writer's block that got in the way, but I do remember she kept promising to finish it & a lot of peple were complaining over lack of updates

Ella: She apparently had a very strict outline that she drew up before she started posting, so I think it was just trying to leave the door open for a sequel. Then again I didn't like Gilded Cage that she also wrote, so maybe it's her style ending things slightly abruptly.

I'm reading Broken Angel now...there sure are a lot of lemons in this thing. I really didn't have a problem with how fast she took him back only because just before he showed up she was thinking he was the only one who could make her whole again. It's that whole mating thing. But she's twenty now & I'm thinking "you better change her soon or you won't be able to look the same age when you play high school kids" I worry about weird things.

How far have you got and how are you liking it so far?

I'm about 2/3rds done. I'm slow...I get distracted too easy

So far it's really good. As long as they are together? I don't really care if they are married or not. But the 2 or 3 lemons a chapter? Yeah, probably why I'm slow...I understand she is showing they can't keep their hands off of one another, though if I could skim them more it would be better. Only problem is, they talk or think things in the middle that I don't always want to miss

Though really, after a while fade to black would be great.

The next thing you need to learn is that fics disappear for almost no reason. If you like it or want to read it, you will need to know about You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

There are many others, but I recommend flagfic because it's the easiest to start. Also? Though others may argue, PDF is not the best form for downoloading. If you have a kindle - use mobi. Anything else uses epub.
