WTF. Who recommended this?! It is the saddest thing ever and it's a OS so there is no redemption! I ended up reading it with only one eye open, kind of squinting...I'm not a happy chappy at the moment, I need something funny quick to eradicate this fic from my brain... :'(

That would be me.  It made me sad so I said I needed a funny.  That's when Anchalee recommended the funny but unexpected lemon fic a.k.a. the Jack and Jill fic  ;)
I would rather cuddle then have sex.  If you're good with grammar, you'll get it.

Maybe I'm not feeling overly sentimental tonight.  I thought that was absolutely fantastic!  I know it was sad as hell but the writing and the way the author pulled you in was brilliant.

I read it because it's written by TheFicChick who wrote the fic "Departures" that I liked so much.  I like to keep a sharp eye on authors I like who aren't really well known like CaraNo, TB23, Savage or Nolebucgrl

Summary:::

Dirty Dancing meets Magic Mike starring the guys and girls of Twilight. A love story with plenty of dirty dancing, but it's not Mike who's magic

Now I need to go back and read the 6 pages since yesterday

WIPs!!!  :pulling :pulling :pulling

I like the summary though so I'll add to my stalk list, but it is her firs long multi-chap fic and she's been writing it since 2009!

Will definitely wait for it to complete before I read it.

The sequel is a wip.
Which I just flounced cause

Is it not a current challenge then?  I loved Departures too.  Although I have read all the well known authors I do love it when I find a really good fic from an unknown.  My problem is I don't keep them.

I just spit my coffee out over this fic.  I'm reading along, it's all sweetness and light and full of fluff then suddenly out of NO WHERE, just dropped in the middle of the sweetest sugary sentence comes a full on lemon sentence, just bang! No, pre-empting, nothing! Almost like..
Jack and Jill
Went up the Hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill unzipped his fly with her teeth, grasping his large, throbbing cock, and shoved it into her mouth. Yeah! It shocked the hell out of me.. :D  :D
I laughed so much reading that, that I woke the woman up in the bed next to me and the nurse told me to calm down.  >:( :D
It's the first time I've laughed in days, coz of the pain.

I'm reading this one as well - as soon as saw that there was a MM theme - I was like "I'm so on this!"  :D

Oh yes, it was part of that Angst challenge contest thing.  When I saw that she wrote a fic for it, I checked it out not knowing what to expect but it wasn't that.  I am really like her writing style and her "voice."  And I like how she doesn't try to write the usual OTT sex-ed up (<--not complaining though ;)) Edward.  I like her characters and her E's are the real deal.

I think this rhyme is burnt into my brain now.  I keep bursting into laughter every time I see it.  Getting some very strange looks from Hubs - no way am I explaining it!

Mushroom ravioli
A blue dress
A Volvo
Clare de Lune

I have fun with waiting for those special markers coming up in a story
I'm getting all confused when Bella doesn't drive an old truck - "A BMW?? Where's her truck?"

But I hate when writers don't get those references right.
B: Claire de Lune?
E: Yes! You know her music?
B: Of course! She writes awsome songs! I like her even more than Paramore!

Yeah, I really read that dialogue in a story...  ???

..Wow. That's just embarrassing!

Also, I worry for any virgins who read fanfic lemons that revolve around Bella losing her V-card. The amount of instances I've seen where she's crying and it's super painful.. poor girls must be horrified after that.

That has got to be the best take on a nursery rhyme EVER - well done! Ya know I'll be singing this in my head all day now don't ya?

Afternoon folks! Hope everyone is ok. :)

I'm getting ready to go take apart my laptop, the fan has been running REALLY loud lately, I'm hoping it's just dirty, cause I can't afford a new laptop, and this one is just a little bit over a year old.

Last night I finished up Risen Anew, it wasn't bad, it was really different from most Bella/Jasper fics in that Edward DID bite her that first day, and she turned. It felt a little simple and easy and everything fell right into place for Bella, but it was an ok way to spend a couple of hours. Also, much less error ridden than others I've read lately.

Ok off to tinker, wish me luck!

I liked Risen Anew...different as you said. T rating kinda stunk though lol.

I just finished Saved (I think you mentioned that one before?) and really liked it. I also finished Full Circle the other night (LOVED it) but still need to read the sequel...I'm terrible with sequels.

That's not a bad thing considering the pregnancy rate.  I might save some of the bad ones to show my Daughter in (hopefully) a few (lot of) years.x

:iagree: I might follow your lead hun and show my 14 year old daughter some as well as I don't want her doing like I did - I fell pregnant for her at her age.
So if I let her read some scenes of Bella losing her V card she might be put off for a while *fingers crossed*
