This story is about breast cancer. but just because subject is good doesnt mean story is good too.  i wonder what was that people talking about this fic?? characters doesnt have  any delpth. Everything  is rushed & poorly executed.

I actually enjoyed this one. It's been a while since I read. It wasn't a masterpiece or anything.

But I flounced her other fic at last.

It started out really interesting. Then she killed the story. .

She had a good plot premise. Then it became a cliche. And I don't think I could really forgive this Edward.

I don't expect fanfiction to be Nobel prize winners, you know?

So I can let go a bit of grammar and spelling mistakes (as long as it is not too much). I actually have a bigger problem with plot twists.

Some fics are just ok, and I have no problem with it, writing fanfiction is a hobby to most people so I can't expect it to be perfect.

That doesn't mean I won't say some fics are just horrible.

I mean the plot sounded interesting, BUT well I couldn't get passed the awfull spelling


I mean I get you forgot to spell check a chapter but the whole story  I mean come on!!

Anyway if you don't mind the spelling then be my guest if not then don't read it please is just not worth the headache trying to correct the spell errors in your head   

I started reading fics because it was an easy way to practice my English as it is not my mother tongue. After finding sooo many spelling errors in various stories I realized that it will have opposite effect - spoiling my English. 

Yeah my mother tongue isn't English either. I mean I make mistakes here and there but nothing so major and it gets easier as time passes by. I guess or want to think that the author's first language isn't english but still you have spell check. USE IT! Please

Sorry, I misunderstood.... 

But really? Fanfiction is probably not the best way to learn proper English.  Nor are those cheap self-published Amazon kindle books.  I've found tons of spelling and grammar errors in those as well.  Actually, pleasing and whales are both properly spelled words.  They are just incorrectly used.  So she probably has spell check but not grammar check. 

And I think you are doing exceedingly well at it since I can't speak another language to save my life.  Okay, well I can say a few things in French & a couple of Russian, Spanish and German words.  But I could never read in another language. So I for one am very impressed with all of you who do...

Well? England/Great Britain....  I know, I know.... Though really?  I always thought it was a part of England, kind of like Puerto Rico is a part of the US. 

Wait! are you now going to tell me Cornwall is also a separate country too? *shakes head*

I really should have paid more attention in Geography I guess.  Not that it matters, When I compare the globe from when I was in school and the globe now? Yeah, half these "countries" didn't exist. 

Okay, just checked out the map 

What's really weird to me is that I always thought Wales was below England, not to the side.   Obviously, my geography teachers did not do there jobs...at all!

Probably all those Harlequins that made Wales seem like a region of England didn't help either!

It's a common mistake, but it's not in England. It is one of the countries forming both the UK and Great Britain, though. Think of the US - Louisiana and Texas are two different entities but they're both constituent parts of the USA, the same way England and Wales are of the UK. My Geographical knowledge is pretty poor, too, but if you heard the Welsh accent you'd understand why English people don't want to have that association

Oh and a fun fact - there are crazy people in Cornwall who wish to be their own country. It won't ever happen but once every few years it'll get a headline or two.

It's funny in school, they always talk about Great Britain being England & Scotland and a bunch of islands all over the place that the Queen mostly set free years ago... But never Wales.

I just now learned that UK isn't synonymous with England and Great Britain. To me, one country, all the same

LOL! Oh yes, I get distracted easily.  I will be reading something that is slow or too fluffy or just not what I'm in the mood for...and someone will rec something, next thing I know I've read four other stories and a one-shot or two & what was that story I was reading? 

So although I don't "flounce" per se, I definitely don't finish everything I start.  That is for sure....
