I flounced like 6 or 7 fics yesterday and realized later on that it's probably better to not try to read something new when you're in a lousy mood and nothing sounds good. It looks like I've got several fics to try again.

One more fic I flounced recently: Sugar Daddy Needed by jess2002

Renee is cutting Bella off. Bella needs money and Edward has a lot of it, but Bella gets more than she expected. Can she handle it or will it be too much?

I got past the bad writing for the first few chapters, but the plot was just terrible

And that happens in the span of TWO days (meaning 5 chapters - in a 43 chapter story)

I mean come on... I might have kept reading if the lemons were at least decent, but nope, they were also of the bad kind

Edit: I just re-read one chapter to make sure I wasn't too hard. I don't want to be mean, but it is actually worst than what I remember. This story is all over the place

I am reading this fic. and i think i am just about to flounce this one as well.

I am sure you must have got idea of story from summary.yeah its all bella hiding edward's baby & bumping to him after few years.Seriously i feel like Secret & lies is only sensible story with this concept.

Apparently This story doesnt have strong plot for this drama. I mean Edward's mistake & bella's reason are not at all convincing.Right now i want to hit edward really badly. & its very contrast to what i am reading from review section of chapters.because people wants to hit bella & thinks she is being bitch for not taking edward with open arm.And I feel like this story is making it looklike Single mother with no extra privilege isnt capable of good upbringing for kids.SERIOUSLY

I just like to see how they get past it and back together. But this one is 361,184 words. It was recently marked complete. So thanks for the heads up. It goes to the end of a very, very long list of TBR fics.

Usually enjoy the Bella leaves and has Edward's kid(s) and he shows up any number of years later or Edward leaves Bella because she is pregnant, that sort of thing, no matter how bad. than i will suggest that you completely remove from TBR fic list.Seriously they are getting back together track is also very lame & not convincing.Edward is so annoying.He is like you kept my children away from me now i am boss so whatever i say you do.Sooo bossy & controlling.

& this bella who actually has pretty good job doesnt have little self-respect to stand up for herself & shut up this moron.He always play "Its good for our kid card" to emotionally blackmail her & spend time with her.Its sicking.

Not only edward pretty much entire cullens are very annoying & nosy.

They are just baaaad.

Also read Bella swan FBI babysitter, my copy was missing the epilogue, not sure if there is a complete version there. I didn't flounce because it was short, but I skimmed a lot. It wasn't good. I kept thinking: yeah, right!

Something that will always make me flounce from a fic is badly-written over the top physical fighting. Edward punching someone I can believe, but when Bella suddenly pulls out these deadly moves she's never mentioned before it's hard to believe. Authors seem to make her face Tanya/Lauren and do all these karates moves just for the hell of it. Completely ruins the fic, for me.

Guess my life is sheltered. I have not read one with this kind of stuff.

I do like a Bella who can handle a weapon because her Dad taught her.

Oh, okay. I was just curious. I usually like to give a story a chance before I take a person's word for it. I know a lot of fics people disliked that I loved, but to each his own.
