Need something light and feel good with a smidgen of smut to read..any recs?
Am I the only one that feels ever so slightly resentful of authors who use FFN story alerts to tell me about their P2P news? I mean the first one is fine. "Hi everyone I've pulled this story to publish it" Great, good luck to you and may your fart always smell of roses but after that....I've received 3 from AwesomeSauce about Last Tango In Forks. It almost as if she's rubbing my nose in the fact now... Stick that shit on your Facebook page now, this is Fan Fiction.Net, FAN FICTION mofo!
Have you read The List by Laura Cullen, Comp Sem 101 or Resident Geek (all fics)?Not sure about light and feel good, but some others I enjoyed... (real books) I loved Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan (right up there with Hopeless by HC and I thought a good bit steamier). And Sea of Tranquility, Restoring Jordan and and Escorted (Claire Kent).

It's one thing to post in the author's note with an update that the story will be pulled. I don't know about you guys but I get so excited to see updates on some stories and then I'm highly disappointed when it's just a note saying they're pulling to publish or posting a new story.

That drives me nuts especially when it's been a while since they've updated the story.
I'm with you. Posting an AN to say "I'm pulling to publish get it now if you want it" is totally different from "Hey guys, I pulled it without telling you, but now I'm letting you know you can buy it if you want to read it again. (Or finish it)"
